Gallagher condemns Derry armed robbery

SDLP Derry City Councillor Shaun Gallagher has condemned this morning’s armed robbery of a van in the Racecourse Road area of the city.

Mon 20th February

The Shantallow councillor said: “People in the area are shocked and alarmed at this incident.

“It must have been an extremely traumatic experience for the driver of the van.

“I would urge anyone who was in the Racecourse Road area around 10:30am and witnessed this robbery to come forward to the police.

“It is imperative that those responsible for this crime are apprehended and brought to justice before they strike again.”
