Heading: Twinbrook community halted by attack

SDLP Deputy Mayor of Lisburn Councillor Brian Heading has said Twinbrook has been brought to a standstill due to security alert in the Summerhill Road area.

Speaking from the scene, he said: “The people of Twinbrook are yet again the victims of another criminal act which has brought this community to a standstill.
“This has caused widespread traffic disruption to local residents and has prevented businesses from trading normally in what is an already tough economic climate. 
“I urge those responsible for this activity to desist so that people in this area can get on with their lives in peace.”
