McCrossan acts on Clady mobile black-spot
He said, “It was generally the case that mobile reception around Clady was functional. O2 in particular had a number of customers in the area due to their consistently good coverage. It was with great shock that overnight this coverage disappeared, and O2 customers around Clady were unable to use their phones for weeks.
“For 3 weeks residents contacted O2 only to be told that coverage in the area was normal but it was clear that Clady had become the latest of Tyrone’s mobile black-spots.
“I am pleased to confirm that after contacting O2 they assured me that they will send an engineer out to assess the situation. I encourage them to fix the problem as soon as possible and return service to their customers in Clady some of whom have no other form of telecommunication besides their mobile phone.”
