Brendan has been a member of Fermanagh District Council since January 2011, co-opted in place of his late father, and elected in May 2011 to serve the Erne West DEA. In May 2014, Brendan won a seat on the new Fermanagh-Omagh Council, representing the revised Erne West DEA.
Currently Chairman of the Development Committee and Chairman of Fermanagh Lakeland Tourism, Brendan is also a member of Fermanagh Rural Community Network, the Citizen's Advice Bureau and a LAG member of SWARD as well as a member of the Board of Governors of St. Mary's Brollagh.
Brendan is 30 years old and works as a business analyst for Liberty Insurance in Enniskillen.
One of six boys, son of Gerry and Ann, he is currently the Secretary of Devenish St Mary's GAA Club and P.R.O. of my local angling club, Garrison & Lough Melvin Anglers’ Association.
