Durkan welcomes planning approval for Peace Bridge

SDLP Foyle MP Mark Durkan has welcomed the announcement that planning permission has been granted for the Peace Bridge in Derry.

Wed 25th November

He said: “I very much welcome the fact that planning permission has now been confirmed for the Peace Bridge.

 

“This landmark project will help to redefine our cityscape linking the exciting prospects at Ebrington with a renewed city centre.

 

“With the funding for the project secured, planning permission granted and preliminary work underway, we all hope to see timely delivery of this new iconic feature.”
