Gallagher horror at death of 15-month old baby

SDLP Fermanagh and South Tyrone MLA Tommy Gallagher has expressed his horror following the death of a 15-month-old baby injured in an alleged assault in Enniskillen.

Fri 11th December

He said: “I am absolutely horrified to learn that the 15-month-old baby taken to hospital after suffering a serious assault has now died.

“The people of Enniskillen where this child lived will be shocked to the core.

“The death of a child in any circumstances is heartbreaking but the nature of this incident is particularly distressing.

“My heartfelt sympathies go out to the child’s mother and family.

“I would now ask anyone with any information as to how this child died come forward and help the police in their murder investigation."
