Friday 4th December 2009 SDLP leader and Foyle MP Mark Durkan has pledged to ‘Get Serious’ about diabetes by joining leading health charity Diabetes UK in its new campaign to raise awareness of the condition.
Tuesday 9th November 2010 SDLP Foyle MLA Pat Ramsey has represented the Assembly at Westminster to mark World Diabetes Day and has said that early intervention measures are essential in order to deal with the condition.
Wednesday 19th October 2011 SDLP Health Spokesperson Mark H Durkan has said strong measures must be put in place to increase diabetes sufferers’ awareness of how to manage living with the condition and prevent further complications.
Friday 27th January 2012 SDLP Foyle MP Mark Durkan joined volunteers from the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) this week at Westminster to raise awareness of the increasing prevalence of diabetes.
