Tuesday 15th December 2009 SDLP Mid-Ulster MLA Patsy McGlone said he hopes to promote service to voters, reconciliation and unity of the people of Ireland in the post of party deputy leader. Following the close of nominations Mr McGlone is the sole candidate for the post, to be appointed at the party conference in February.
