Tuesday 13th July 2010 SDLP North Belfast Councillor Nichola Mallon has described as ‘shameful’ the wall of silence from the First Minister and Deputy First Minister after two days of violence across the North and said much more must be done to support those working on the ground to get a lasting resolution to the parading issue.
Wednesday 14th July 2010 SDLP North Belfast councilor Nicola Mallon has condemned further upheaval in Ardoyne after a security alert in the Highbury Gardens area on Wednesday.
Thursday 15th July 2010 SDLP Leader Margaret Ritchie MP MLA said hard lessons need to be drawn from the violence of recent days in Ardoyne by a range of agencies if repetitions are to be avoided.
Wednesday 28th July 2010 SDLP Justice Spokesperson Alban Maginness MLA has said a great deal of work still needs to be done to tackle hate crime across the North.
