McGlone welcomes additional places for Primate Dixon

SDLP Mid-Ulster MLA Patsy McGlone has welcomed the decision to approve a development proposal from Primate Dixon for an additional 26 Nursery places in Coalisland.

He said: “I’m delighted that the Department of Education has approved the development proposal submitted by Primate Dixon for additional Nursery places. This decision will ease a lot of stress on parents in Coalisland who otherwise would have had to find alternative facilities further away for their children.

“Primate Dixon provides an excellent beginning to a child’s educational journey and it’s fantastic news that more will be able to avail of that great start. I’ve visited the school and seen first hand the excellent care and support they offer. I want to congratulate the staff and the entire school community on this well deserved expansion.

Coalisland Cllr Malachy Quinn added:

“This is a fantastic development both for Primate Dixon and for the local community. It will give local parents a lot more security knowing that their children can attend a local nursery with such a great reputation.”
