Tierney appeals to parents on Galliagh anti-social behaviour

SDLP councillor Brian Tierney has issued an appeal to parents to help resolve the issue of Anti-Social Behaviour in Galliagh by talking about the effects it has on vulnerable residents. Councillor Tierney was speaking after receiving a number of reports of young people being involved in anti-social behaviour over the weekend.

Belfast Cllr Tim Attwood has said a proposal from Department for Communities to cut Neighbourhood Renewal by 11% is unacceptable. In 2008/09 the Neighbourhood Renewal Budget was £24/25 million today its around £18 million.
