We call on the Department for Infrastructure to install Speed Indicator Devices on the Antrim Road between Ben Madigan Park and Blessed Trinity School.

This stretch of road has seen repeated road traffic collisions, including a serious multi-vehicle crash at the corner of Antrim Road and Donegall Park Avenue, which resulted in hospitalisation and damage to the area. Despite being a long, relatively straight stretch of road, it has few traffic calming measures and no Speed Indicator Devices in place.

We believe Speed Indicator Devices would help reduce vehicle speeds, improve driver awareness, and prevent further accidents, protecting residents, road users, and children travelling to and from Blessed Trinity School.

This petition demands the Infrastructure Minister to act on this request without delay.
