Pedestrian and Cyclist Crossing for Ardenlee

The Ravenhill Road has been included as a short term project in the Belfast Cycle Network Delivery Plan, which was launched by the SDLP in March.

SDLP City Councillor Séamas de Faoite is campaigning for a pedestrian and cyclist crossing at the junction of the Ravenhill Road and Ardenlee Avenue as part of the planned safer cycling infrastructure.

The Department for Infrastructure must ensure that the new cycling infrastructure includes adequate protections for cyclists and pedestrians. Cllr. Séamas de Faoite has requested that as part of the delivery a new signalised puffin crossing is installed at the junction of the Ravenhill Road and Ardenlee Avenue.
