Downpatrick

Aurla King was co-opted onto Newry, Mourne and Down District Council in September 2025, replacing Gareth Sharvin.

From the Saul area, she is a mother-of-three and has worked for many years in the education sector.

Locally, she is involved in a number of sporting and community organisations.
