Waterside

Sean Mooney is 46 years old and a Councillor for the Waterside DEA in Derry. He currently resides in the area with his wife and three children.

He became an SDLP Councillor for Derry and Strabane District Council in February 2020, replacing Sinead Mc Laughlin when she took her seat in the Northern Ireland Assembly. It was a great honour to become an elected representative for the people of Derry. Sean always been a proud advocate for the people of the city, whether in his current role as a councillor or in my previous profession as a solicitor.

In his private time he enjoys all outdoor pursuits, particularly triathalons, open water swimming, cycling etc.
