SDLP Conference 2026 comes at a defining moment for our party. As the last Conference before the 2027 Assembly and Local Government Elections, it will bring members together to reflect on our progress, set our priorities and prepare for the campaign ahead.
The past twelve months have shown what a renewed SDLP looks like. We've taken our message into communities through town halls across the north, challenged Executive failures on issues including Lough Neagh, the A5 and the absence of a Budget, as well as hosting our hugely successful landmark The Future of These Islands: Preparing for Change conference, bringing together voices from across these islands to demonstrate that constitutional change must be built on persuasion, planning and inclusion.
Conference 2026 is where we build on that momentum, unite behind our vision for the future and launch the campaign that will offer people a genuine alternative to two decades of fear, dysfunction and political stalemate.
Whether you're a long-standing member or joining us for the first time, we look forward to welcoming you to Belfast this September.

Registration for Conference is now open, and you can secure your ticket below:
- SDLP Members and Delegates: £20
- SDLP Youth Members: £10 (when you register before Friday 14 August)
- Non-members/Observers: £50
Conference Dinner
Our Conference Dinner will take place on Friday 11 September and will feature a performance of their “New Ireland” sketch by Grimes and McKee.
- SDLP Members: £60 per person
- SDLP Youth Members: £40 per person
- Non-members: £120 per person
- Table: £1000
