For too long, the progress on Coshquin Playpark has been delayed and despite repeated promises, local people are yet to see a playpark in the area for their children. The number of young families in the area is growing but this area has continued to be neglected. The SDLP has been fighting for this long-overdue provision and we believe residents have been let down and that it is time for a guarantee that Coshquin playpark will go ahead with haste.

We are calling on Derry City and Strabane District Council to progress Coshquin Playpark without delay and act with urgency so that the young people in our area can finally have the facilities they deserve.
