With just one year to go until the Assembly and Council elections, the SDLP is firmly focused on offering a strong, positive alternative to a politics that simply isn’t delivering for people.

 

To make that offer a reality in communities across the north, we need people to step forward locally to demand better and to show that there is an alternative to the status quo.

 

We will shortly be opening the application process for members interested in standing for council and/or the Assembly. Ahead of that, we would like to invite you to an online briefing with the Party Leader to outline why standing matters, how the process works, and what we are looking for in a new generation of SDLP representatives.

 

Real change only happens when people are willing to stand up for their community. We hope you will consider being part of that change.
