Keep South Belfast GP Out-of-Hours

The Belfast Health Trust is currently carrying out a scoping exercise which includes an unnecessary proposal to move the South and East Belfast Doctor Out-of-Hours services to the Royal Victoria Hospital campus, on the other side of the city. This proposed move represents an unnecessary and unacceptable loss of a local service, which will impact most profoundly on vulnerable people and families with young children. It is also contrary to the stated aims of much needed health service reform, which seeks to divert pressure away from acute services like those based at the RVH.

Sign our petition today and send a clear message to the Belfast Health Trust that the removal of these services to the Royal Victoria Hospital is unacceptable and counterproductive.

We petition the Belfast Health Trust to ensure that a fully operational Doctor Out-of-Hours service continues to operate from Knockbreda Medical Centre, Saintfield Road, Belfast.
