SDLP Deputy Leader Nichola Mallon MLA has said that the party will not be intimidated or deterred after police searched the area around her North Belfast office following a report of an explosive device this afternoon.

Nichola Mallon MLA said:

“Earlier today the PSNI contacted my office in North Belfast following a report that an explosive device had been left outside.

“I want to make it clear that neither I nor my party will be intimidated or deterred by those responsible. We are committed to representing people in North Belfast and in every community across Northern Ireland.”
