Most modern cities have a nighttime bus service with key routes that stay running until after bars and restaurants close, but Belfast lags behind with most bus routes finishing around 11pm. This limits the potential for our cultural and nighttime economy, whilst also leaving workers without safe and affordable routes home.

Translink and the Department for Infrastructure have previously operated seasonal nighttime bus routes. It is time to turn these seasonal routes into year-round services for the greater Belfast area.
