SDLP Children and Young People Spokesperson Cara Hunter MLA has started a campaign to reform Relationships and Sex Education in Northern Ireland.

The SDLP want to build a future where comprehensive Relationships and Sexuality education is a basic part of everyone’s school experience.

It will be inclusive of our LGBT+ and disabled communities, standardised for all schools, and age-appropriate.

We know that sexual assault and harrassment is a problem in Northern Ireland. We believe education on consent is part of the solution, and we’re determined to do something about it.
